There are many varied attractions in and around the Kingston SE area.
Depending on the exact type of activity you might like to be involved in, I'm sure you'll discover one or more to keep you occupied.

The Big Lobster
The Big Lobster is located on the outskirts of Kingston, next door to our Motel. It offers a great opportunity for some fantastic photos.

Cape Jaffa Lighthouse
The Cape Jaffa Lighthouse has been rebuilt on the foreshore in Kingston SE and is available for visitors to be included in a tour right up to the top with a running commentary about the history of it.

Tractor Museum (Kev's Kollection)
Kev's Kollection is also just near the Motel on the outskirts of Kingston SE and includes one of the largest collection of working tractors and stationary engines from yesteryear.

Jetty
Once this jetty used to be over 2 km long and was used to ship out much of the farmers goods until the railway was built.

Golf Course
Only a KM on the Southern side of Kingston, this is one of the most scenic 18 hole golf courses available to the general public for just a hit or two or a full round.

Wineries & Vineyards
The Mt Benson & Cape Jaffa Vineyard area lies approx 10km to the South of Kingston SE. This area has relatively new plantings but is already winning many awards for it's destinctive wines.
There are more than a dozen vineyards in the area and some have wine tasting facilities and are available for purchasing direct from them.

Sundial
Within walking distance from the Motel on the banks of the Maria Creek is the human involvement sundial.
There are several other sculptures done by the artist around the town including the sealion near the jetty.

Beaches
Some of the safest beaches for children swimming can be found around Kingston SE. Wyomi & Pinks Beach to the South of the town are very sheltered and seldon get any sizeable waves.
The Coorong beaches are driveable by two wheel drive vehicles up to the Granites in the summer months and 4WD's can travel right up to the Murray Mouth. It is advisable to travel in groups in case of trouble!!

National Parks & Nature reserves
Within easy day trip distance are several National Parks and Nature reserves. In Kingston is an active bird watchers club and a "Friends of the Parks" group.
